Put your name in your post or else they look anonymous in the blog.

Be Patient, when you add a comment I get an email and have to approve it.  I will be checking email daily but it may take time for your post/comment to appear.

What to post

 Summer Reading

Summer Experience

  • Read a minimum of two books from the suggested list or a book that has been approved by me.

  • Post to the blog 4 times about your book. A post can be your opinion, something you like about the book a specific character or event, it can even be a question. Please be careful not to give away any spoilers or endings. Post at least once in June and once in July making sure you have posted twice before school starts. (In other words, don’t wait until August)

  • Reply to at least two posts by other students. Always be respectful in your posts say something meaningful.  Just saying “I agree” or “good point” don’t mean much and won’t be counted.

  • If you are checking, yes, you need a total of 6 entries on the blog 4 posts and 2 comments.

For the Summer Experience---

  • Post pictures and describe somewhere you went over the summer. This could be as simple as a local museum or a hike in one of the nearby California State Parks.  Some of you may be fortunate to travel out of the area if so pick one of the places you visit and tell us about it.  Don’t forget to post a picture too!
